The company has obtained registration RSCO-365/VIII/26 for Bulhnova SP, a microbial inoculant featuring a new soluble powder formulation that builds on more than 25 years of experience in microbiology applied to agriculture.

Agronova Biotech strengthens its presence in Latin America with the authorization of Bulhnova SP in Mexico, under registration number RSCO-365/VIII/26, valid until 19 August 2031.

Bulhnova SP stands out for its exclusive soluble powder formulation, developed both to preserve the viability and stability of microorganisms and to facilitate field application. Its advanced encapsulation technology protects the cells during drying and promotes their survival after application, while also providing a concentration 50 times higher than the standard liquid formulations commonly available on the market.

This new format is the result of more than 25 years of R&D and field experience, during which this microbial technology has evolved and been adapted to different crops, application systems, agricultural conditions and production areas. Its journey began with Biopron, later evolved into different formats and led to Bulhnova in a liquid formulation for irrigation, culminating now in Bulhnova SP. This evolution reflects much of the knowledge and experience accumulated by Agronova Biotech in biotechnology applied to agriculture.

The product combines Azospirillum brasilense strain M3 and Pantoea dispersa strain C3, two beneficial microorganisms with complementary functions. Their activity supports key plant nutrition processes, such as biological nitrogen fixation and phosphorus solubilization and mineralization, helping to improve nutrient availability and plant development.

The authorization covers its use in a wide range of crops, including maize, wheat, rice, sorghum, beans and soybean, as well as horticultural crops such as tomato, chilli pepper and potato, and crops such as avocado, citrus, mango, coffee and grapevine.

Obtaining this registration marks another step forward for Agronova Biotech in Latin America and enables Bulhnova SP to be introduced into Mexican agriculture. Its arrival expands the range of tools available to support more effective nutrient use and contribute to more balanced crop development.
